Your profile is your first audition
On PIVOT410, one profile goes with every application you send. Casting staff see it when you apply, and - if you turn on Spotlight - when they search for talent. A clear, complete profile makes it easy for them to picture you on stage and remember you afterwards.
Think of it as a "LinkedIn for idols": not a one-time form, but a living record of your training and growth.
1. Photos: show the real you
Upload up to six photos and label each one. Aim for at least these three:
- Front: face the camera, eyes to the lens, whole face visible.
- Side: a clean side or three-quarter angle.
- Full body: head to toe, standing naturally, in fitted clothes.
Tips that make a real difference:
- Use natural, soft light from the front - a daytime window is ideal.
- No filters, beauty mode or heavy retouching. Agencies compare your photos with your videos, and they should match.
- Choose a plain background and keep hair away from your face.
- Set your clearest front photo as your main photo.
2. Videos: at least two performances
Add two or more 30-60 second performance videos - for example one vocal and one dance, or two contrasting styles. Label each video (vocal, dance, rap, self-intro, acting) so staff can find what they need quickly.
Each video should open with a short slate (name, age, country, position) and reach your best moment early. Our guide on filming a 30-60 second audition video walks you through it.
3. The details that help you get matched
- Positions: choose all that genuinely apply - vocal, dance, rap, visual, acting.
- Languages: list the languages you can hold a conversation in. For global groups this matters.
- Height: enter it accurately.
- Date of birth: it is used to match you with auditions open to your age.
- Country and city: where you are based today.
Accurate details help the AI recommend auditions that really fit you - and help agencies trust what they see.
4. A short bio in your own words
You have up to 500 characters. Use them to sound like a person, not a template:
- What you do best, and what you are working on now.
- How long you have been training, and how (classes, self-study, dance team, choir).
- The kind of artist you want to become.
Keep it honest and specific. "I have trained in hip-hop dance for three years and I am now working on my live vocals" says far more than "I love music and I will work hard."
5. Keep practice records
The strongest profiles show growth over time. Upload a new video when you learn a new routine, or record the same song again a few months later. Joining the monthly #PIVOT_Audition challenge is an easy way to build that record, with an AI accuracy score to track your progress.
6. Turn on Spotlight
With Spotlight off, only agencies you apply to can see your profile. With Spotlight on, verified casting staff at PIVOT410 partner agencies can find your profile, photos and videos in talent search and reach out about auditions. Your profile is never shown to the public or other members. You can switch it in My profile.
If you are under 18, add your guardian's name and email and complete guardian consent - agencies will include your guardian when they contact you.
7. Keep it updated
- Replace photos when your hair or look changes noticeably.
- Refresh videos every few months as your skills improve.
- Update positions, languages and bio as you grow.
- Try AI face analysis to discover your visual archetype and styling ideas.
